PANIC artf Factory-built and covered according to the rigidly conjoined specification as clearly defined by Dr Newman himself! This astonishing model simply oozes ultimate functionality and will shout 'getyermittsoffme-yergreatjessy' when horribly abused by absurdly evil pilots. Luckily, the model has been designed, honed and perfected by the flagrant genius of Dr Newman, therefore you will be ENTIRELY UNABLE to provoke even the mildest whimper from the airframe however vicious the abuse you hurl at it. This is the aircraft that you can flat spin WHILST CLIMBING! This is the aircraft you can land inverted, then somersault to upright - WITH THE ENGINE STILL RUNNING! This is the aircraft that will carry out a 540 DEGREE stall turn! This is the aircraft that will take ALL the Papadoms from your plate and then ask for MORE! It's factory-built, assembled and covered. It uses high grade balsa throughout. It's got a comprehensive accessory pack. It's BRITISH! And you know the most BOGGLING thing about it? It's so easy to fly that even a complete banana like Mick can fly it! Here's a little PANIC history and a few anecdotes: Philip Newman designed the Panic Biplane over 25 years ago for fun-flying and competition flying. The original design used a dihedral lower wing with ailerons and an independent flap on the upper wing. This setup was very popular with new pilots as it gave a very smooth, yet responsive, feel that was in a class of its own and inspired pilots with confidence. With a few modifications, including a flat bottom wing, ailerons coupled top and bottom, the Panic biplane was now competition-hungry and one of the most advanced aerobatic aircraft of its time. Over the years the Panic has won more then its fair share of competitions, be it spins, loops, rolls, touch & go's, climb & glide, or freestyle aerobatics. This model does them all with ease which has made it a club favourite over the years. It has been displayed at many flying shows by the infamous Panic Team U.K. They add their own legendary flying skills and chaos to their well-rehearsed flamboyant flying routines to induce many ooohhs and aaaahhs from the crowd as they witness the havoc-like display! Over the years the Panic Team have used modified Panics to entertain the crowds, including a releasable top wing (you need two pilots for this one!). The model flies around and at the click of a switch, the wing is released (at first sight you think the plane is in big trouble but don't get the black bin bag out yet!). With the help of some servos, a battery and receiver, the wing is able to fly around with a few aerobatics thrown in for good measure - then land back down on the patch! This always entertains the crowd! Another crowd favourite is the backwards-flying-Panic, that's right, "BACKWARDS FLYING"! This was the hardest of all projects to realise (you wouldn't believe where the C.G. has to be to keep this model flying), but thanks to the tenacity of Robert Newman and a little pile of bent Panics, he did not give up until he had overcome all obstacles and, at last, had a flying specimen - well done, Robert! To add to these eye-bogglingly crazy antics, Robert and the team went at it again and created a Panic that is hand-launched but when released, the back half of the fuselage falls to the ground leaving the remains of the Panic to fly off and entertain the crowd. These guys are crazy!
